Great News! Oglethorpe University has partnered with Handshake – a modern career development platform – to replace our current system, Career Connect. Handshake will be your one-stop-shop for launching your career!
Handshake offers new features, enabling you to:
- Access personalized job recommendations based on your major and interests
- Register for Career Fairs
- Manage on-campus interviews with top companies
- Schedule appointments with your career counselors
- And so much more!
Career Development will preload your profile and you will be able to access your Handshake account beginning on April 16th, 2018.
For those of you that currently have a Career Connect profile – HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
If you currently have a resume in your Career Connect profile, please note, we will not be able to transition documents to Handshake. Please be prepared to uploaded the latest and greatest version of your resume into Handshake after the launch date. Please note Career Connect will no longer be available after March, 31st.
