In addition to the poster presentations, the attendees were able to take in scholar talks. Dr. Zinner found one talk to be  particularly helpful.

“It was a talk specifically for department chairs, and I learned all about an organization entitled “Association of Heads of Departments of Psychology” that will be a great resource to me when I become Division chair at the end of the semester,” Dr. Zinner said. “They discussed issues that were important for department chairs at a variety of types of institutions, some of which were very similar to Oglethorpe.”

Travel funds to the conference were provided in part by the Faculty Development Committee.
