Dr. Kate Keib will deliver this year’s keynote address “Fake News, Real Consequences: Understanding individual responsibility in a digital world”

The annual Liberal Arts and Sciences Symposium brings together the entire Oglethorpe community in a day-long celebration of exemplary analytic and creative work and research produced by student scholars during the academic year.

The symposium provides a forum to recognize, discuss and learn from these outstanding endeavors. Panels, poster presentations, and performances present the fruits of both Oglethorpe’s liberal arts curriculum as well as student-driven initiatives, including senior honors theses, independent studies, service learning, study abroad and experiential initiatives, all of which connect Oglethorpe with Atlanta and the world beyond.
