The Georgia Watercolor Society National Exhibition 2018 will be on view in the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art from March 17 – April 29, 2018. This year there were 345 submissions of original paintings in water media in a wide variety of styles and materials. Jurist and master watercolorist Kathleen Conover made a selection of the paintings of 80 artists from the state of Georgia and beyond. Oglethorpe University Museum of Art is delighted to welcome back our friends from the GWS!

The Georgia Watercolor Society was formed in March 1975 to advance the art of watercolor painting while contributing to the cultural atmosphere and standards of the state of Georgia. It also provides support and assistance for its members and others endeavoring in the field of watercolor painting. For more information about GWS, visit: georgiawatercolorsociety.com.
