Congratulations to Jessica Belén Rodriguez ’15, who was named to Atlanta Business Chronicle‘s second annual 30 Under 30 Who’s Who!

At Oglethorpe, Belén studied biology and psychology and was President of Rotaract Club, President of Catholic Club, and a Civic Engagement Scholar.  She has a self-described passion for serving others through healthcare and is currently pursuing a dream career path of working with humanitarian organizations as a health educator in rural communities.

“My future ambitions are to expand my education in global health and obtain my medical degree,” she writes. “My goal is to serve humanity on a larger scale by obtaining an in depth understanding of the macro and micro levels of healthcare, and developing effective ways to improve healthcare delivery to individuals in marginalized populations.”
