On February 14, 2024, Oglethorpe will host its third annual OU Giving Day, in conjunction with the campus’s Oglethorpe Day celebration!

The entire OU community is invited to come together on this special day to support what they love most about Oglethorpe. Alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty, and staff are encouraged to join in and give back and invest in Oglethorpe!

OU Giving Day celebrates the impact of philanthropy and focuses awareness on the importance of supporting Oglethorpe. Gifts made on OU Giving Day not only make the world-class education students receive at Oglethorpe possible, they also represent a profound trust in the university’s mission of teaching excellence in an inclusive learning environment and preparing students for success in professional endeavors as responsible and productive contributors to a global society.

This year, donors will be encouraged to direct their gift to support one of our four featured areas — Academics, Student Scholarships, Oglethorpe’s Greatest Needs, or Stormy Petrels Athletics — or they can direct their gift to any area of campus that means the most to them.

On OU Giving Day, it’s not about the gift amount. It’s about the collective power of Petrels coming together to make a difference and invest in Oglethorpe. There will be special challenges throughout the day to help donors make the most of this special initiative.
