Oglethorpe University is included in the latest edition of the Fiske Guide to Colleges, a bestselling compilation of the top 300+ institutions in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

Now in its 40th year, the Fiske Guide highlights the “best and most interesting” colleges and universities.

Striving to be “helpful, honest, and straightforward” in its review of colleges, Fiske includes quotes from real students to give an insider’s look at what it’s really like to be a student at each school.

One Oglethorpe student is quoted: “I have never breezed through a class. The academics are so rigorous.”

In its profile of Oglethorpe University, the guide specifically calls out OU’s Atlanta location, academic values and faculty, Core program and “highly diverse student body and extensive financial aid.”

According to Fiske, the publication is “the best-selling college guide on the market and the one that high school counselors recommend most often to students and parents.”
