The Princeton Review has once again recognized Oglethorpe University as one of the Best Colleges in the Southeast.
The well-known education services company included Oglethorpe in its 2023 Best Colleges Region by Region — recommended schools that are “academically outstanding and well worth consideration” in a college search.
Only 143 colleges in 12 Southeastern states and 655 overall made the select group of colleges. Princeton Review’s Best Colleges constitutes just 24% of the nation’s 2,700 four-year colleges.
The company considered data from its survey of administrators at several hundred colleges in each region, information from staff visits to schools over the years, and the opinions of college counselors and advisors whose perspectives the company solicits.
Princeton Review also surveys students about their campus experience. The Princeton Review survey asks students to rate their colleges on dozens of issues and to answer questions about themselves, their fellow students, and their campus life. Survey topics include overall campus quality of life and safety, as well as quality of teaching and professor accessibility.
The Princeton Review is an education services company known for its tutoring, test-prep, books, and other student resources.
