Humans of Oglethorpe

‘Humans of Oglethorpe’ series returns

During fall 2019, Oglethorpe’s Pegasus Creative student communications agency debuted the “Humans of Oglethorpe” series, showcasing the many different kinds of people and stories found across campus.

Inspired by the global phenomenon “Humans of New York,” this project aimed to collect stories from individuals who make up the Oglethorpe community.

The project went on hiatus when the campus closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the recent return to campus and in-person activities, Humans of Oglethorpe is making a comeback!

Jamie Aiken ’23 will be leading this project, interviewing people on Oglethorpe’s campus and beyond. If you see her walking with a camera in hand, don’t be shy—come tell your story!

If you have a story to share or know a member of the Oglethorpe community who does, please reach out to [email protected].

Humans of Oglethorpe was created by a Pegasus Creative student intern in University Communications at Oglethorpe. Inspired by Humans of New York by Brandon Stanton, this series will share personal stories and perspectives from across campus. Everyone has a story and everyone is human.
