Oglethorpe University’s President Nick Ladany has once again been included among the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Who’s Who in Education, an annual list of the top 100 leaders at colleges, universities, and schools in metro Atlanta.
The business publication noted: “Georgia is home to some of the country’s top education facilities, which attract both top education professionals as well as residents and visitors eager to partake of these programs. From award-winning public schools to technical and vocation programs that fill the coffers of the numerous tech and other companies in greater Atlanta to rigorous MBA and other programs, the state’s education is an economic driver. Much of its success in education is due to the people on this list.”
During his first year in office, Dr. Ladany led the university’s pandemic response, increased efforts to enhance student success and persistence, launched a strategic planning process, and worked to strengthen the institution’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
