Student financial need is top of mind in two ongoing fundraising efforts — and there is still time to participate and support Oglethorpe students!

Seniors for Students 2021 is a student-led gift campaign that focuses student financial needs and making a difference for the next generation of Petrels. Graduating seniors (and others!) are invited to support the Student Emergency Assistance Fund, which assists any Oglethorpe student who may be at a financial tipping point.

This fund helps students who may be at risk of dropping out because of financial hardship, serving as a safety net to help pay for food, books, rent, utilities, and other living expenses, so students can stay focused on their classes and stay in school. Hear from seniors leading the campaign — and be a part of this important effort by making a gift to the senior class gift campaign in support of the Student Emergency Assistance Fund.

Oglethorpe faculty, staff, families and friends are encouraged to join seniors in supporting the campaign through a charitable donation.

Spring for Scholarships is an annual giving initiative that focuses on student scholarship support from alumni, parents and friends.

Did you know that 99% of Oglethorpe students receive financial aid and 90% receive merit scholarships based on their academics and test scores? But sometimes that isn’t enough to fund a student’s tuition need.

Spring for Scholarships is dedicated to helping meet that need by raising funds for the Annual Scholarship Fund. Invest in the best and brightest Stormy Petrels — diverse, global citizens ready to take on the extraordinary in the world!  Hear from one of those incredible Petrel scholars and consider making your charitable contribution. The campaign ends on May 14.
