Free online fitness classes available via nationwide collegiate partnership

Oglethorpe University has joined the 2020 Recreation Movement challenge—focused on driving fitness and wellbeing-based activities to keep students and university communities healthy, active, and connected!

The 2020 Recreation Movement, a collegiate recreation platform, allows Oglethorpe students, faculty, staff, and alumni to participate in both live and pre-recorded online workout classes from 100+ different colleges and universities across the country. Classes include a variety of workouts including Yoga, Pilates, Barre, and more.

With the goal of staying active together even when we’re apart, the 2020 Recreation Movement provides free access to workout classes, a fun movement competition, and great ways to connect, engage and stay well during these evolving times.

With Oglethorpe’s Schmidt Recreation Center and athletics facilities currently closed due to COVID-19, this is an especially exciting partnership that will help ensure students and athletes remain healthy and active.

Oglethorpe will add classes in the coming weeks, but you can start exercising and earning movement minutes today! As we kick off the competition, you may also be entered into Ogle gear raffles.

Sign up and start taking classes today!
