Some points of clarification based on questions received:
Friday, March 13 is the last day for in-person courses. Next week, March 16-20, is a week of preparation for faculty to have all coursework ready to be delivered online starting Monday, March 23.
Residential students will continue to receive information from residence life via email. Please keep checking emails for updates on housing and dining.
Student workers are not expected or required to work.
All events and large gatherings are canceled. The university is complying with best practices for social distancing to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Schmidt Recreation Center, gym, and weight room and the TLCC game room services are closed for this reason.
We will advise students of amended building hours and services by emails in the coming weeks. This will include information about academic advising, counseling and end of the semester rental text return. A modified building schedule will be set to help students know what areas are opened or closed.
No decision has been made about commencement, we are waiting to assess safety and conditions closer to the date.
As you are arranging to finish courses online, please direct any technical questions to the firstname.lastname@example.org email. IT services will be working extended hours online with additional staff to support you in this transition.

The university has extended the deadline for course withdrawal to Friday, April 3 at 5 p.m. The semester calendar otherwise stays the same.
