Video: Malika Whitley ’11 featured on Today Show

Class of 2011’s Malika Whitley continues to make a difference in Atlanta with ChopArt, the nonprofit she founded for homeless teens “to help them build community, cope, and heal” through the arts. And her efforts are getting national recognition.

Most recently, Today.com highlighted Whitley’s outreach to homeless youth in the city.

This month, Whitley was also featured in Atlanta Magazine, and made an appearance on campus as a featured panelist in the Women of Color in the Workforce Dinner & Dialogue.

Previously, Whitley delivered a TED Talk about her efforts, and was named to Creative Loafing’s 20 People To Watch list in 2016.
