The Stormy Petrels fall sports squads are all in action and the accolades have already started coming in.
The men’s cross country team placed second at the Watermelon Run in Mount Berry, Ga. over the weekend, and sophomore Jacob Hadden ’21 placed second overall for his individual time, earning him SAA Runner of Week honors. It’s Hadden third time receiving the award.
Sophomore Jacob Hadden has been named the SAA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week in a vote by the league’s coaches. It marks the third time in his career that Hadden has earned the honor. Hadden had an outstanding season-opening race at the Watermelon Run in Mount Berry, Georgia, on Friday.
At the Lakeland University Volleyball Tournament in Plymouth, Wisconsin, sophomore outside hitter Jacoby Sims ’21 had 22 kills over four games to earn a spot on the all-tournament team.
