Labor Day marks the start of the fall sports slate for five Oglethorpe University athletics teams. Men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and men’s and women’s cross country will all be kicking off the season with competitions over the holiday weekend.

The Oglethorpe men’s soccer team reached unprecedented heights for the program in 2017, and they’ll be looking to surpass that during the 2018 season, which kicks off this week.

Women’s soccer is back on the field starting this week, as they aim to continue moving up the SAA standings.

Seven seniors will lead women’s volleyball in hopes of making a big move up the SAA standings in 2018.

The women’s cross country team finished fifth at the SAA Championships in 2017, marking their highest-ever SAA finish. They’ll bring back four members from last year’s squad.

A trio of All-SAA contributors will lead the men’s cross country team as they try to improve on a fourth place conference finish.
