A slew of incoming Oglethorpe University freshman and high school baseball commits have been cutting their teeth at Hermance Stadium this summer as part of the Brookhaven Prospect Bucks team.
The Prospect team is comprised of rising college freshmen and high school students, and serves as a feeder to the Brookhaven Bucks Sunbelt Baseball League team, which calls Oglethorpe University home during the summer months.
Incoming first year students Chase Clark, Noah Schroyer, Rajan Sampat, Daniel Southern, Will Arnold and Cory Troiano will be joining the Stormy Petrels baseball squad for the 2018-2019 school year. They are joined on the Prospect Bucks by several rising high school seniors who are currently committed to Oglethorpe.
The Prospect Bucks close their season at Anderson Field at Hermance Stadium with a double-header July 2, a 12 p.m. game July 3 and the season finale Friday, July 6 at 12 p.m. The team is currently 5-3 on the year.
