Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival and 5K returns

cherry blossom festivalOglethorpe is proud to sponsor the fourth annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, a music and arts extravaganza which returns to Blackburn Park this weekend, March 24 and 25.

The festival features music headliners Five for Fighting, Craig Morgan, Edwin McCain and many others, as well as a 5K/1K benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta on Sunday morning.

Admission to the event is free, and also includes an artisan village, car show, Kidz Zone and pet parade, as well as numerous food and beverage options.

“The entertainment and festivities keep getting bigger and better every year at the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival,” said Brookhaven District 1 Councilmember Linley Jones.  “The partnership of Live Nation and Splash Festivals has already raised the level of excitement surrounding our music and art extravaganza.  The best part is that admission is free and there is something for everyone in the whole family.”

Only ADA Parking will be allowed at Blackburn Park.  Everyone is encouraged to use MARTA and follow the signs from the Brookhaven rail station, or utilize free shuttle parking at the following locations:
