Oglethorpe recently celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day by hosting a sports clinic for kids. Organized by the Oglethorpe Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), together with the OU Athletic Department, the clinic offered a chance for kids (girls and boys) to learn basic skills in various sports, including golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and track and field, from Oglethorpe student-athletes.

The clinic preceded the Oglethorpe basketball games in Dorough Field House against SAA rival Rhodes . All clinic participants received free admission to both games, and participated in a meet-and-greet with the women’s basketball team after their game.
