After defeating Centre College to capture the Southern Athletic Association tournament championship Sunday, Oglethorpe men’s soccer earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament.

The Stormy Petrels learned of their opponent during a live bracket reveal Monday. They will travel Saturday November 11 to host school Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. to take on first round opponent North Carolina Wesleyan College. Oglethorpe defeated NC Wesleyan 4-1 earlier in the season. The winner of Oglethorpe’s match will play the winner of Washington and Lee vs. Mary Washington University in the second round Sunday, November 12.

This trip to the NCAA Tournament will be the second in Oglethorpe’s history.
