Kelly Grey Carlisle to read from memoir
The Library Journal called We Are All Shipwrecks, “moving and complex” and “an exquisitely written tale of perseverance and unconditional love. A worthwhile addition to any collection.”

Dr. Carlisle has a classroom dedicated in his honor on the third floor of Lupton Hall, and also helped bring Japanese language and culture into the school’s curriculum during his 22 years on campus.
Carlisle teaches at Trinity University in San Antonio and edits 1966: A Journal of Creative Nonfiction. Her essays have appeared in Salon, Ploughshares, New England Review, The Sun, Cherry Tree, The Rumpus, and The Touchstone Anthology of Contemporary Creative Nonfiction.
