Constitution Day Lecture 2017 | Positive Freedom of Speech: The Value & Limits of Libertarianism

In observance of Constitution Day this Sunday, Oglethorpe will host a Constitution Day lecture on Friday, September 15 at 4 p.m. in the TLCC Trustee Room.

Dr. James R. Stoner, Jr. of Louisiana State University will speak on the topic of “Positive Freedom of Speech: The Value and Limits of Libertarianism.”

The panel of respondents includes: Oglethorpe Philosophy Professor Devon Belcher, Prof. Daniel Cullen (Rhodes College), and Prof. Rebecca Clark Schmerer, visiting assistant professor of Core Studies at OU.
