‘Shakespeare in Love’ gives Theatre students professional experience

The Alliance Theatre will be a traveling company during its upcoming season, which will open with its production of Shakespeare in Love at the Conant Performing Arts Center August 30-September 24, 2017.

Among the cast of professional thespians, three Oglethorpe students – Meredith Myers ’18, Alex Oakley ’19, Gillian Rabin ’19 – will grace the stage during the run. Director Richard Garner, former artistic director of Georgia Shakespeare, will lend his familiarity with the campus facilities, as well as his artistic eye, to the production.

Garner spared a few moments during rehearsal to discuss his “homecoming” and brag on the talented group of Oglethorpe Theatre players.  Find Tickets
