The Student Engagement and Leadership Office (SEL), with the financial backing of SGA, is excited to announce a partnership with Campus Labs to facilitate a new platform for community engagement – OUConnect.
Starting this fall, OUConnect will replace the SOURCE calendar and the Oglethorpe App to become a centralized place for the Oglethorpe Community to know what is happening on and around campus and how to get involved in organizations, events and initiatives. Student Government chose to fund this solution to centralize, organize and increase student, staff and faculty involvement opportunities, building a culture of engagement.
This platform isn’t just for students! Every organization, department, office (or even committee) has the opportunity to create their own page to be kept private or to be seen by the entire public. Having a presence on OUConnect will allow members to submit events to the University calendar, manage documents, communicate with other members, write news stories, maintain a photo gallery and much more.
