Dr. Glenn Sharfman, provost and vice president for academic affairs, has announced 16 new staff and faculty, plus a number of notable academic position changes.

Dr. Stephen Herschler will serve as the interim Director of the Center for Global Education, standing in for Dr. Ron Bobroff, who is on sabbatical.

Dr. Brad Smith is the new Director of the Honors Program, replacing Dr. Michael Rulison.

Dr. Sarah Terry is the new Core Director, replacing Dr. Charlie Baube.

Dr. Matt Wild has been named the new A_LAB Faculty Liaison and Service Learning Coordinator.

Dr. John Nardo, professor of mathematics, is the new Associate Provost, as previously announced in November 2016.

In addition to Rene Alvarez, Dr. Beth Concepción, and Dr. Matt Wild, the Atlanta Laboratory for Learning (A_LAB) also welcomes Erin Sherrill, who was promoted to Director of Career Development, and Jessica Winestock in the Civic Engagement Coordinator position.
