This year Oglethorpe welcomes three GA Rotary Scholarship recipients: Emma Stahlfors from Sweden studying economics; Anna Boggiss from New Zealand studying creative writing; and Marc Gevers from South Africa studying psychology.

Rotary Clubs around Georgia have provided Rotary Scholarship winners from all over the world the opportunity to attend Oglethorpe University. The Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) was founded in 1946, after the end of WWII, in an attempt to promote world peace.

Since then, the program which lasts one academic year, has received more than 2,700 students from over 78 countries. Over the years, these students, many of whom have attended Oglethorpe, have had the opportunity to experience an American education and engage with Rotary Clubs across the state of Georgia.
