Phoenix Arising Consulting, founded by Oglethorpe alumna Jen Riley ’10, was awarded Small Business Supporter of the Year by Constant Contact Marketing Solutions at their 2015 One Con Partner Conference in Las Vegas in October 2015.  Phoenix was also invited to organize a conference panel on “Pricing Your Services to Grow Your Business.”

While at Oglethorpe, Riley created a marketing communications individually planned major (IPM), integrating courses in communications and rhetoric studies, graphic design, business administration, and marketing. Riley, who now teaches marketing at Gwinnett Technical College in metro Atlanta, was also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national coeducational service organization founded on the principles of leadership, friendship and service.
