Adult Degree Program Student Recognized for Excellence

Twain Carter ’15 received the 2015 Adult Degree Program award at Oglethorpe’s annual Honors & Awards Convocation, during the day-long Liberal Arts & Sciences Symposium. The award is given to one ADP student in recognition of academic accomplishments and for outstanding contributions to the culture and vitality of the Adult Degree Program. Cecil Rose, assistant director of the Academic Success Center, presented the award.

“Twain has been a remarkable student and an excellent ambassador for our ADP scholars both in the classroom and around campus,” said Cecil. “He has also done a phenomenal job representing Oglethorpe University in professional settings. His campus involvement, including an internship with Pegasus Creative, and excellent academic achievement is commended by the faculty and staff at Oglethorpe.”
