Chastain Horse Park Founder to Speak at Oglethorpe

Join Oglethorpe University on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 as we welcome Amy C. Lance, president and founder of Chastain Horse Park, Ltd.  Beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the OU Museum of Art, Lance will speak to attendees as part of Oglethorpe’s Mack A. Rikard Lecture Series.

Lance received the Development Authority of Fulton County’s Economic Development Award for “Excellence in Business”, among other awards from Atlanta organizations for the redevelopment of the horse park. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Business Management.

The Rikard Lecture Series introduces students to current issues in business as presented by civic and businesspersons who are recognized as leaders in their professions.  Past speakers have included Truett Cathy, Founder and Chairman of Chick-fil-A , William Johnston, Former President and COO of the New York Stock Exchange, and Dennis Kelly, President and CEO of Zoo Atlanta.
