Oglethorpe has surpassed its $1.5 million Annual Fund goal and set a new university record.

A total of $1.513 million was raised during 2016-2017, representing a six percent increase over the previous year and marking the largest unrestricted total amount of dollars for an annual campaign in the university’s 182-year history.

Annual Fund contributions come from throughout the Oglethorpe community and beyond, from alumni, faculty and staff, Board of Trustees, students, parents, parents of alumni and other friends and supporters. The Oglethorpe Annual Fund in turn supports every aspect of the university—students, academic programs, faculty, facilities and more. Gifts to the Annual Fund have an immediate impact and provide critical, current-use support for Oglethorpe.
