Photos & Videos: 2017 Liberal Arts & Sciences Symposium in review

The Liberal Arts & Sciences Symposium  brings together the university community in a day-long celebration of exemplary analytic and creative work produced by Oglethorpe students during the academic year.

The day began with a PRISM (Posters of Research in Science and Mathematics) and Study Abroad poster session, where students presented their class-based and independent research projects. Keynote speaker Dr. Anastasia Lin of the University of North Georgia spoke on the importance of undergraduate research, and her own projects, before attendees were invited to hear from students in panels and presentations throughout the day. Student art was on view in the Philip Weltner Library and a musical performance capped off the curriculum-encompassing day.

Take a look at some of the highlights of the 2017 Liberal Arts & Sciences Symposium.
